In January 2022, Hamburg’s iconic concert hall Elbphilharmonie celebrated its five years anniversary. The architectural landmark has played a big role in gaining Hamburg international recognition as a cultural city.

 

Therefore, Hamburg Marketing – the official tourism organization for Hamburg – appointed Related to handle a range of PR, influencer and native marketing activities in the Danish and Swedish market, with the aim to increase awareness of Hamburg as a cultural city break destination.

 

Among the activities undertaken by Related were press releases, native advertising, press trips and influencer campaigns in order to inspire cultural travelers to choose Hamburg for their next weekend trip.

The campaign was a great success, and the activities resulted in a total reach of 3,482,813 across Denmark and Sweden and 28 pieces of media coverage in tier 1 media such as leading lifestyle magazines and national newspapers.
