On behalf of VISITFLANDERs, we invited Swedish cyclist Jessica Clarén to promote Flanders as a cycling destination and to take on the region’s most intense cycling challenge: The Flandrien Challenge.

 

Jessica is an avid cyclist who both shares cycling inspiration on her own Instagram as well as being the founder of the cycling club and community She Rides. She traveled to Flanders for four days with the goal of completing the Flandrien Challenge. The challenge consists of 59 Strava segments, and to complete the challenge cyclists must finish the 142 km ride within 72 hours. 

 

Related handled profile scouting, content and fee negotiations, brief and agreement, coordinating flights, overseeing content and reporting, on behalf of VISITFLANDERS’ cycling brand, Cycling in Flanders.

 

After finishing the tough challenge and putting her name up on the Flandrien Challenge Hall of Fame, Jessica posted Instagram content on both her personal account and She Rides from her trip, as well as an article on She Rides’ website and a YouTube video which was shared in their community Facebook group with 10,000 members.

 

The content had a total reach of 41,000, 16,000 through plays and 441 engagements.
