Madhya Pradesh Roadshow in Stockholm and Oslo

Madhya Pradesh Roadshow in Stockholm and Oslo
Travel

On behalf of Incredible Design, Related arranged two successful roadshows for Madhya Pradesh. The Stockholm Roadshow was an evening event which took place at Radisson Strand, with a marvelous view facing the dock of Nybrokajen. 21 selected representatives from the Swedish travel trade and 3 key journalists attended the event to learn more about “the wild heart of India” – Madhya Pradesh. The Oslo Roadshow was an intimate and personal lunch event which took place at the grandiose Grand Hotel Oslo. 16 guests were selected to join the event, half of them from the Norwegian travel trade and the other half consisting of selected key journalists and influencers. Present at both events were also representatives from Incredible Design and Madhya Pradesh Tourism. A few carefully chosen governmental partners within the India’s travel business where participating as well – to meet with the Swedish and Norwegian travel trade and media.

Both lunch and evening event started off with greetings of the guests. Welcome drinks were served in a decorated environment, flourishing in a Madhya Pradesh aura with mingle and photo opportunity in front of a Madhya Pradesh branded photo wall. After a welcome speech and toast by Natalie Stavrakos, Account Executive at Related, a presentation of Madhya Pradesh and the opportunities and possibilities of the destination was presented by Sonia Meena, Additional Managing Director at Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. In Stockholm, the participants also had the opportunity to hear a few words from the Indian ambassador in Stockholm, Monika Kapil Mohta, who were present as chief guest. After the presentation finger food was served – in Stockholm with an Indian touch! Before and after the events guests were able to mingle both with each other as well as with the representatives of Incredible Design, Madhya Pradesh Tourism and the invited partners.

The regular traveler might not have heard much about the hidden pearl – Madhya Pradesh – however, the prominent travel guide, Lonely Planet, claims the region to be among the best destination of value around the world. In the travel guide’s list of 10 “Best Value” destinations for 2020, you’ll find Madhya Pradesh on a steady third place. The list is a part of Lonely Planet’s “Best in Travel 2020” rankings.

Related’s role was to coordinate the event from the start by scouting venue and coordinate between the three parties – the venue, invitees and Incredible Design – as well as invitation and follow-up.
