Intimate foodie event to increase awareness about Irish high-quality beef

On behalf of our client Bord Bia, we arranged an intimate bbq event to let a group of Swedish influencers experience the exquisite taste and quality of Irish beef.

 

Irish beef has an exquisite taste and quality, and although this is a very clear message to convey, nothing beats letting people taste the grass fed properties for themselves. Therefore, on behalf of our client Bord Bia, we arranged an intimate BBQ event for a small select group of Swedish food influencers to give them this experience first-hand.

 

The event was hosted by Bord Bia and professional chef and meat-lover Johan Jureskog, who is also a well-known and respected restaurant owner in Sweden.

 

To give the guests an impressive live sensory experience, Johan Jureskog served a lovely well-prepared dinner with multiple Irish elements, the hero being matured grass fed beef. Being a true meat connoisseur, Johan Jureskog also guided the guests through a comparison taste test between high-quality matured Irish, American and Swedish steaks. As an inspirational and educational aspect, he shared his best grill tips – the key tip being that the meat must be high quality if you want to succeed with your BBQ dinner.

 

Combined, the guests’ organic SoMe posts, stories and TikToks from the event generated 1,129,047 impressions, while Johan Jureskog’s own paid posts had over 80,000 views.

Moreover, the event was a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship with key food profiles and convincingly showcase the true difference in taste it makes when the ingredients are of premium quality.
