On behalf of Travel South USA, Related sourced four tier 1 journalists from the Nordics for the tourism board’s yearly conference Global Media Marketplace, this year in Louisville, Kentucky. Before the Global Media Marketplace, each journalist joined a pre-conference press trip, spreading the Nordic coverage nicely across the Southern states.
Thus, the journalists started off with exploring everything that makes the South special: From Southern hospitality and soul food to the rich heritage of Kentucky Bourbon and local culture.
At the Global Media Marketplace, the journalists got the chance to meet with representatives from all the different states, sharing news and inspirational story ideas.
