What a ride it’s been over the past years! From the first breaking of the ground, to roofing ceremony and now finally the opening of Center Parcs’ first resort in Scandinavia: Nordborg Resort on the island of Als. And two weeks ago it was finally time to celebrate the official opening ceremony and welcome the first guests to the resort on June 20th.
As Center Parcs’ PR agency in Denmark since 2022, we’ve been along for the entire ride and have led the communication strategy to build national awareness around the launch. For the inauguration event we invited key media and stakeholders and arranged press stays during the opening weekend, giving journalists firsthand experience of the resort’s nature-focused design and family-friendly facilities.
Our efforts secured broad coverage across Danish media, positioning Nordborg Resort as a new premier nature destination in Denmark. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the resort – and for our ongoing partnership.
