Earlier in June, Jens participated in the annual Visit Estonia Meet Up – a four-day gathering hosted by Visit Estonia, bringing together representation agencies and partners from around the world. The event offered not only networking and updates but also an authentic experience of one of Europe’s most underrated travel destinations.
The program was thoughtfully planned and filled with interesting activities, including insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and fantastic meals. And throughout the trip, the group got to experience a few different regions and places.
E.g. they visited Hiiumaa, Estonia’s second-largest island, known for its relaxed pace, welcoming locals, and distinctive regional cuisine.
Another stop was the town of Haapsalu, often referred to as the “Venice of the North.” With its scenic waterfront, historic spa culture, and inviting atmosphere, Haapsalu offered a unique blend of charm and authenticity and – as always in Estonia – excellent food and drinks.
The journey ended in the capital Tallinn, with an exclusive dinner at restaurant Sumi – a laid-back bistro, with Japanese, Korean and global flavors.
Jens returned to Stockholm full of inspiration and new insights, which he looks forward to share with the trade in Norway.
