We are new PR representative for Türkiye Tourism Promotion & Development Agency (TGA) in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The mission is to familiarize Scandinavian travelers with Türkiye’s many opportunities – in addition to sun and beach.

New year, new clients – apparently! We just started a collaboration with Türkiye Tourism Promotion & Development Agency (TGA) on PR and communication in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Thus, Related will assist TGA and the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen and Stockholm with press office, press releases, press trips, influencer collaborations, campaigns and events.

And although the focus is on PR, we will also be involved in coordinating fam trips as well as ongoing dialogue with tour operators and travel agencies.

Türkiye is especially known for its beautiful beaches and warm temperatures, but the country is also rich in culture, history, nature and not least food experiences – from Michelin to street food.

– We are very pleased to be given this task, so that through PR we can help increase awareness of Türkiye’s many different products and opportunities; whether you want to eat your way through Istanbul’s street kitchens on a city break, hike in beautiful mountain landscapes or visit archaeological sites with significance for the entire history of mankind. Türkiye’s tourism product matches all the trends we see in the market these years; local food experiences, authentic cultural experiences, active in nature and activities with locals. There are countless opportunities for all this in Türkiye. We look forward to making even more Danes, Swedes and Norwegians aware of this, says Henrik Koch, CEO at Related.

At the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen, Derya Şerbetçi Acar, Counsellor for Cultural and Information Affairs, is very pleased with the prospect of working with Related.

– Related impressed us with their analytical approach and strong focus on insights and data before developing and implementing concrete activities. We want to introduce Türkiye, one of the most important holiday destinations, not only for sea, sand and sun tourism, but also for its history, culture and rich cuisine, and for the important steps it has taken in the field of sustainable tourism. I am convinced that the combination of Türkiye’s unique tourism products with Related’s power will be a great success. I look forward to working with Related’s competent and pleasant staff to develop Turkey’s potential in the market. I am especially looking forward to the big event in February and a series of exciting initiatives focusing on food, history and culture, she says.
