We are still buzzing from the roadshow we hosted on behalf of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development in Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Stockholm last week!

We brought along 12 incredible suppliers (DMCs, hotels, airlines) from Ras al Khaimah and arranged a series of presentations, workshops, and quizzes for the more than 100 travel agents and journalists, that participated!

The roadshows took place in amazing venues, e.g., the restaurant Bistro panpan at Copenhagen Zoo, where the participants enjoyed a lovely meal while looking at the exotic animals. In the museum Fotografiska in Stockholm, we covered the walls in videos, created a feeling of being transferred into the amazing Ras Al Khaimah nature. In Oslo, we invited partners from the Norwegian travel trade and press to dine in the garden at the stunning hotel Amerikalinjen and in Helsinki, the evening took place in the festive Valkoinen Sali hall. In each city, one lucky winner even won a trip to Ras Al Khaimah!

We can safely say that the participants went home with excitement about the hidden gem that Ras Al Khaimah is!

Oh, and did you know that Ras Al Khaimah has been awarded a silver-award in the EarthCheck sustainability certification – as the first destination in the Middle East? The certification process is based on Earth Check’s in-depth scientific criteria and careful monitoring, benchmarking and revision of ten sustainability factors – from energy and water consumption to waste management, analysis of CO2 footprints and community management.
