On behalf of our clients Bord Bia & Tourism Ireland, we hosted a gastronomy-centered press event in Stockholm in the week of Midsummer.
At the event, the amazing Irish chef Jess Murphy, who runs the restaurant Kai Galway on the west coast of Ireland, created an Irish tasting menu with divine Irish produce. The menu included grass fed Irish premium meat – quality assured by Board Bia – as well as Irish cheese and whiskey specialties.
Jess has a strong focus on sustainability – Kai Galway is even the only restaurant in Ireland that have been awarded a Green Star by MICHELIN, for its sustainable focus and initiatives.
The event was part of the Stockholm European Capital of Gastronomy calendar, with one exclusive event for the press, selected food influencers and partners, and one event open to public.
A mouth-watering event resulting in lots of interest in Irish produce and guests’ desire to visit Galway and the rest of island of Ireland on their next adventures!
