Lisa just got home from escorting a group of Norwegian travel agents around magical and snowy Estonia, where they got to experience the Estonian unique nature and taste the wonderful cuisine.
During the trip, they stayed at the brand-new Radisson Collection Hotel located in the medieval cobblestoned Old Town of Tallinn. They also tested their cookie-decorating art skills at the gingerbread workshop at Gingerbread Mania, an art exhibition where the only rule is that everything must be made from gingerbread – a very popular (and tasty!) local place to visit during Christmas!
And to experience the sides of Tallin that only locals know, they went on a magical guided Christmas tour in Tallinn Old Town, learning about the history of Estonia and exploring the Christmas markets.
To discover the wild nature of Estonia, they went to the Laheema National Park. The area is one of the most important forest conservation areas in Europe and is home to several large animals like moose, wild boar, brown bear, lynx, and red fox. Here, they did a short hike on the snow-covered bog and got to see amazing views of the country’s nature.
During the trip, several wonderful gastronomic experiences took place counting lunch at Vihula manor, dinner at MICHELIN star restaurant Mantel ja Korsten and even local cocktails in a private retro tram ride.
