We’re strengthening our competences by welcoming experienced senior team member.
In Related, insights and data are the core of everything we do. No matter if we are developing go-to-market strategies, campaigns, PR plans, events, new products, etc. we always rely on market intelligence, data and valid insights. Back in 2014 we even developed our own survey about the Nordic outbound travel market; Travellyze.
And now we’re leveling up once again, as we have strengthened our team with a dedicated Senior Insights & Data Executive, Dennis Grauslund.
Dennis holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism and has 6 years of experience of working with data within the tourism industry. Most recent, he has held a position as senior lecturer and project manager at University College of Northern Demark, where he has conducted various mixed methods research projects within the field of tourism.
Dennis has a lot of experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data within the tourism industry as well as communicating findings to stakeholders in an effective manner. He is also a great project manager with a keen eye for details.
Other previous positions include Project Manager & Tourism Consultant in one of the largest coastal destinations in Denmark.
– We have been handling PR, trade and MICE for global tourism brands for over 10 years and have a broad network within both influencers, media and trade. Our team consists of highly qualified experts who knows how to create the best possible results for our clients. And we strongly believe that this further increased focus on market intelligence, data and valid insights will mean added value and even more impactful results for our clients, says Henrik Koch, CEO and owner of Related.
Everything we do is based on data
In 2014 we developed our own survey about the Nordic outbound travel market – to get all the answers we and our clients were looking for about travel and booking behavior, budget, accommodation preferences, information sources, etc. The survey also allows benchmarking of more than 100 different tourist destinations enabling destinations to benchmark against competitors.
Over time, the data grew in volume and detail adding to the complexity of meaningful analysis. Therefore, our team of data scientists and software developers spent two years developing a unique system with algorithms capable of cross-analyzing over 7 million data inputs to deliver clear, actionable insights: Travellyze.
Travellyze offers the opportunity to create tailor-made reports on tourists’ travel behavior and preferences as well as their perception of one or more destinations. All data can be combined and crossed, which gives almost endless possibilities to customize reports and find insights.
Cross-combined insights and new products to benefit all clients
By adding Dennis to our team, we will have even more possibilities to cross-combine insights from our own market intelligence tool, publicly available statistics and trend reports with additional qualitative insights.
Dennis will also be involved in developing new products, processes, and tools, to benefit all our tourism related clients. We already have some exciting and concrete projects coming up and can’t wait to tell you more.
