Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority has chosen Related to represent the destination in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Related will be responsible for the destination’s PR, marketing, travel trade and MICE – in order to open the Nordic travelers’ eyes to the sunny and scenic emirate and its many authentic experiences.

Nature, culture and authentic atmosphere
Ras Al Khaimah is located 45 minutes from Dubai and is the most Northern emirate in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to pristine beaches and sunshine all year round, visitors will here also find a large selection of nature and cultural experiences by the sea, in the desert and in the mountains.
For example, in Ras Al Khaimah you will find the United Arab Emirates’ highest mountain, Jebel Jais, which is known for having the world’s longest zipline at 3 kilometers. You can also explore the Hajar Mountains on scenic hiking or cycling tours. By the sea, you can visit the only Arabian pearl farm in the region or do activities like parasailing, wakeboarding and kayaking in the mangroves– and in the desert you can go on a desert safari, glamping or have dinner under the stars.

With over 7,000 years of history, traditions and culture, Ras Al Khaimah is generally characterized by an authentic vibe. The emirate has, among other things four cultural sites on the UNESCO tentative list of World Heritage Sites and a Cultural History Museum.
Under an all-encompassing banner of Balanced Tourism, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority is shaping tourism in the UAE by placing all aspects of sustainability (environment, culture, conservation and livability) at the center of its investment and development strategy. As part of this commitment, the authority has adopted a measured approach with a controlled pipeline of sustainable development to ensure issues surrounding ‘over tourism’ – such as over development, crowding of heritage sites, and the spoiling of its unique natural environment – are avoided, and creating a destination that will resonate with today’s responsible traveller.
