Related assisted Center Parcs Europe with PR around the groundbreaking event for the new Nordborg Resort, expected to open its doors in late summer 2024.
May 17 2022, the first sod was turned for the future Nordborg Resort, which has been on the drawing board since 2012.
Related was there to assist with PR around the event, on behalf of Center Parcs Europe, who will manage the resort and be responsible for rentals, service, staff and day-to-day operations.
Related’s tasks included inviting media for the press event, attending the press event and distributing a press release to local and national media.

As a result of the PR efforts, both regional radio and tv stations as well as newspapers joined the event – and the media coverage had a total reach of 741,000 and an advertorial value of 24,000 EUR.
– This is our first park in Denmark and Scandinavia and we see great potential in this market. For us, it is important to create a positive impact in the local community and inspire guests to explore the area outside the resort as well. At the same time, we focus on supporting local suppliers and producers, said Olivier Garaïalde, CEO, Center Parcs Europe, who expects the upcoming Nordborg Resort to be a flagship in the company’s portfolio.
