Celebrity Cruises appoints Related for PR
Travel

Celebrity Cruises has appointed Related as its agency in the Nordic region following a four-way competitive pitch.

The appointment marks an important development in the Scandinavian market for the cruise line – one of five brands operated by global cruise company Royal Caribbean Group.

The brief will see Related working alongside Celebrity’s wider marketing team to further build their luxury credentials, deliver campaigns bringing to life the brand’s unique approach to innovation, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, as well as share impactful stories for upcoming ship launches.

Following the launches of the multi-award-winning Celebrity Edge and Apex, recognised on TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places and World’s Greatest Places in Athens lists respectively, 2022 will be a key year for Celebrity Cruises with both the global launch of the newest Edge Series ship, Celebrity Beyond, as well as all three Edge Series ships sailing in Europe together for the first time.

Related’s remit will include consumer PR campaigns, thought leadership and trade communications that drive awareness and bookings with luxury-loving audiences across Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Henrik Koch, CEO of Related said, “With its luxury concept including innovative design, first class culinary experiences and all-round high quality, Celebrity Cruises is a perfect match for the Scandinavian travellers. Their focus on sustainability, inclusion, and diversity leads the cruise industry, and is a real example for all businesses. Therefore, we are very proud to be representing Celebrity Cruises in the three Scandinavian countries.”

Jo Rzymowska, Vice President & Managing Director EMEA at Celebrity Cruises said: We were really impressed with Related’s strategic thinking, insights and ideas on how to position Celebrity Cruises in the Scandinavian market to reach travellers whose values align with our own. Celebrity Cruises has so many unique stories to tell about our holidays, our people and our purpose, so we’re excited to see our ground-breaking experiences amplified by Related.”
