We recently assisted Turismo de Lisboa arranging a webinar for the Nordic travel trade. With more than 10 beaches close by, and affordable accommodation in Lisbon, the aim was to inspire Nordic travel agents to offer and present Lisbon in a new way to their clients prior to summer 2021.

With more than 10 beaches nearby Lisbon, the popular Portuguese city is not just an ideal choice for a culinary or cultural city break – but also for a summer beach holiday. With a broad range of accommodation options and expectedly low prices for the upcoming summer season, Lisbon is the ideal hub for a “beach hopping” holiday.

This was the key message when Related hosted a webinar for the Nordic travel trade on behalf of Turismo de Lisboa.

To ensure best possible attendance for the webinar, a landing page for the event was created by Related, as well as an invitation was distributed to selected agents from Related’s database.  Related was also responsible for the technical setup of the webinar and used Zoom’s platform for the event.

The webinar lasted for one hour. During that hour, presentations and videos from 10 suppliers and a destination presentation by Turismo de Lisboa were shown. Related handled the technical implementation of all different presentations, as well as the hosting and moderation of the webinar between the different video sessions.

Over 50 Nordic travel trade contacts from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland attended the webinar to learn more about these less known sides of Lisbon.
