Under normal circumstances, we host around 100 journalists on press trips each year, on behalf of the different destinations and hotels we represent around the world. But for the past months, we haven’t been able to schedule any press trips to the many cool destinations we represent – for obvious reasons.

But now, as countries and borders have started to open up again, we’re slowly starting to plan ahead. And for our client Visit Portugal, we’ve secured several press visits already in September, with leading tier 1 media from Sweden and Denmark. The aim is to increase awareness of TAP’s direct flight routes from Stockholm and Copenhagen – and to let the journalist experience how it is to travel in Portugal these days, in a time where the Covid-19 virus is still among us.

While some media will focus on hiking and outdoor experiences, other will focus on exploring hidden gems in Lisbon. And we can’t wait to see the articles in the media within near future!
