Related was recently appointed as full-service representative of the state tourism departments of Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming – The Great American West – in the countries of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

The regional cooperative is funded by the five state tourism departments with the mission to drive visitation and spend from international travelers by harnessing the collaborative potential of the region through creative alignment and co-operative marketing programs that leverage economies of scale. This regional consortium, known as The Great American West, contracts with Rocky Mountain International (RMI) to oversee the state’s marketing efforts and manages overseas representation in each of the international markets.
With dedicated, full-time representation in this market, the region looks forward to increasing visitation from the Nordic countries by inspiring travelers with the unique destinations, cultures, and experiences of The Great American West:

Related will work closely with Rocky Mountain International to develop various strategic marketing plans – to include tour operator trainings and co-ops, sales missions, and consumer shows, as well as public relations and media outreach – that will capture the attention of both the Nordic travel trade and consumers.
Related began contracted representation of the five-state region as of October 1, 2018.
