Malta Tourism Authority appoints Related

We are proud and delighted to announce that Malta has chosen Related as their new representative in the Nordics. Related will carry out activities within the areas of marketing, PR and trade.

 – We are very proud to add Malta as new client to our portfolio. We look forward to further strengthening the positioning of the islands among trade and media partners and to increase the awareness of the destination among consumers. There is great potential to increase the market share of Nordic tourists to Malta, the destination is the perfect fit for Nordic people looking for a warm vacation with lots of options in terms of cultural and historical experiences, says Henrik Koch, CEO at Related.

Malta had a record number of 2.3 million visitors in 2017. The number of Scandinavian tourists were 135,237, an increase by 9,1% compared to 2016.

Malta is located in the middle of the Mediterranean and include the islands of Gozo and Comino.  Most people visit the Maltese islands because of the interesting history and cultural heritage, as well as the sun and beach, good diving opportunities in clear blue waters, and the rich calendar of events throughout the year. The diversity of the destination makes it suitable for a wide group of travelers who visit Malta year-round for a pleasant and enriching holiday.

The collaboration between Related and Malta Tourism Authority will be for a period of three years and was officially initiated the 1st of September 2018.
