Hanna recently hosted a Scandinavian fam trip to Geneva showing a group of tour operators from Norway, Sweden and Denmark the best of the city and the surrounding area. They were all curious about the charming city and eager to learn and experience.
One of the highlights of the trip was biking through the beautiful landscape with view of Geneva’s many wine fields and picturesquely villages. The participants could easily bike from wine yard to wine yard and the trip included a lovely winetasting in beautiful surroundings and lunch at a 2-starred Michelin restaurant with breathtaking views of the river Rhône.
Amongst other things the program also included a boat trip on Lake Geneva, a delicious chocolate tasting and a guided tour in the town Carouge. Furthermore the tour operators learned how to make the perfect cheese fondue at restaurant Edelweiss. The cooking class of course included the meal but also live, traditional Swiss music in authentic settings.
The trip was arranged on behalf of our client, Geneva Tourism. All the participants agreed that it was an amazing trip to an amazing city. Geneva has a lot to offer – both as a city break and for those who appreciates nature – a perfect combination!
