On behalf of The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel, Related teamed up with the representatives for Greater Fort Lauderdale and Visit Tampa Bay and conducted a Scandinavian roadshow in April 2018.

During the roadshow, events were held in three Scandinavian cities: Stockholm, Aarhus and Oslo. Each destination was lead for one event each, and Related was lead of the final event in Oslo. Instead of presentations and dinner like in the other cities, we added some extra spice to the event and organized a cooking class focusing on American flavors. Several dishes were prepared, and before dinner was served, each partner held a brief but informative presentation to the attendees. This culinary workshop was an excellent way for the representatives from the three Florida destinations to engage with the agents and provide them with valuable information in an informal way.

All in all, more than 60 agents were trained in a personal environment with great opportunities for the destination representatives to engage with each agent.
