Medieval cities and contemporary atmosphere in Ireland
Travel

Henrik and Helene kickstarted the year by ”Jumping into Ireland” as the slogan of our new client, Tourism Ireland, says. Since 1st of January, Related handles the PR for Tourism Ireland in Sweden and the best way of getting under the skin of a destination – is of course by visiting it in real life!

During five days, Helene and Henrik went on a road trip which included a visit to Dublin, Ireland’s Ancient East and the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland.

The itinerary included a Vintage Tea Tour (in a Vintage Decker Bus) and a Food Tour in the Dublin. In the South East, Henrik and Helene visited the medieval city Kilkenny and Ireland’s oldest city Waterford, founded by the Vikings in 914. The trip then continued up North, to Northern Ireland and the vibrant city of Belfast, where a Black Taxi Tour, The Titanic Museum and another mouth-watering food tour were some of the highlights!

No matter where they went, Henrik and Helene got to feel that Ireland is all about its people and the warm, authentic atmosphere – a destination that offers a unique mix of heritage and contemporary experiences. And now our journey begins – to inspire Swedes to ”Jump into Ireland”: Building up the feeling of living in the moment in Ireland, getting up close and personal amongst Ireland’s stunning landscapes and its joyful people.
