In the first week of December, Hanna hosted a fam trip to the beautiful cities of Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp on behalf of our client VISITFLANDERS. Five Scandinavian tour operators had accepted the invitation, and joined the three-day tour.

The main focus of the trip was to give the attending tour operators a general introduction to the Flemish cities, and to awaken the curiosity for the region of Flanders. To do so, the agents were invited to join a guided city walk in each of the three cities – getting a great hands on introduction to Bruges, Antwerp, and Ghent.

As Flanders, and Belgium in general, is famous for its cuisine and the long tradition of beer brewing, acknowledged by UNESCO, the group also had the pleasure of enjoying both modern and traditional Flemish food, a historical brewery and a chocolate workshop, were the group made (and ate) their own pralines.

The attending tour operators have now returned to their offices with fresh ideas and new destinations to present to their clients.
