As the second Travel News Market – Scandinavia’s largest travel trade show – took place in Stockholm on November 9th, Related was not only participating on behalf of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority with a booth in the US area, but had also invited agents and partners for After Work drinks and bites in connection to the show. Together with the organizers of Travel News Market, Related developed the concept of the TNM After work, named Las Vegas After Work Bar, where selected agents and partners could enjoy an hour of free drinks and food, accompanied by great tunes presented by a DJ. At 5 p.m. the Las Vegas After Work Bar opened for all attendees of Travel News Market.
For the Las Vegas After Work Bar, Related also partnered with Norwegian Air Shuttle, which offers direct flights from Stockholm to Las Vegas during the winter season. Together, Norwegian and Related, as the LVCVA’s representatives in the Scandinavian market, initiated a prize draw, and a lucky winner won two flight tickets with Norwegian to Las Vegas, three nights’ accommodation, and activities at the destination.
During the day, Related – on behalf of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority – hosted a booth in the Discover America area of Travel News Market. Hanna and Helene from Related met with around 80 agents and journalists during the day, who came to visit the conspicuous Las Vegas booth.
All in all, the show was a great success with about 1,200 attendees.
