Jens had the opportunity to guide a group of Norwegian tour operators through Estonia – uncovering hidden gems, seasonal magic, and local flavors.
The journey began in Tallinn with stops at the famous central market, a local leather workshop in the creative Telliskivi district, and a visit to a culinary academy where the group got hands-on with local ingredients.
After exploring Tallinn, the group headed to the relaxing seaside town of Pärnu, known as Estonia’s summer capital. There, they enjoyed a leisurely bike ride along scenic routes.
One of the trip’s most unique moments was experiencing Estonia’s “5th season” – a short time in spring when the rivers flood the forests, creating natural canoe paths through an otherworldly landscape.
The final days included a visit to a local cider winery for a tasting of handcrafted varieties, and a farewell dinner with delicious Japanese-style dishes – a surprising and delightful end to an inspiring trip.
