Related has been the Scandinavian representative for The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel since 2014 with the purpose of creating awareness about the destination, strengthening the destination’s brand among Scandinavian travelers, and positioning The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel as the #1 family beach destination in Florida. Related handles all trade, press and marketing activities in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

One year, visits from Scandinavia to Lee County (The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel) increased by 35.6%. The number of products with Scandinavian tour operators that include The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel has also increased extensively since the start of the contract period.
