Family influencer promoting German hotel

Family influencer promoting German hotel
Travel

On behalf of the German 4 star hotel Hotel Hafen Flensburg, we invited the Danish family and lifestyle influencer Miss Jeanett to visit the hotel on a weekend stay with her family – to enjoy the hotel’s spacious rooms and lovely restaurant and explore the charming city of Flensburg.

The family visited the hotel during a weekend in April 2019 and posted on Instagram and Instagram stories during the visit, to let her followers “join” them on the trip. After the visit, Jeanett made a comprehensive blog post about the hotel – and made a competition where one lucky follower could win a stay at the hotel.

The partnership continued later in 2019, where the family were visiting southern Germany during Autumn – and did a pitstop in Flensburg on the way; and of course stayed at Hotel Hafen Flensburg.

Prior to Christmas, we again teamed up with Jeanett to arrange a give-away where 1 lucky follower could again win a weekend stay at the hotel. The aim with this initiative was to create awareness of the gift cards, perfect as Christmas gifts.

Jeanett doesn’t have a massive number of followers compared to some of the biggest lifestyle influencers in the market, but her followers are very loyal – and most are women around the same age as Jeanett, making the target group very defined.

And actually, during whole of 2019, the partnership with Miss Jeanett was among the most effective marketing initiatives the hotel made – proving again that working with influencers is merely about selecting the most suitable profiles rather than focusing on reaching the highest possible number of followers.
