To increase awareness of Dubai as a MICE destination and of the destination’s many unique possibilities, Related – as Nordic representative for Dubai Tourism – organized an exclusive MICE roadshow for Dubai Business Events. The roadshow consisted of two events in Copenhagen and Oslo, respectively, where Danish and Norwegian MICE agents and buyers could meet with a handful of MICE partners from Dubai.
In Copenhagen, the event took place at the luxurious Hotel d’Angleterre, while the event in Oslo was held at beautiful Ekebergrestauranten. Here, the carefully selected participants got the chance to meet new potential partners as well as hear the latest news from the MICE industry in Dubai over a lovely dinner, during which the guests switched tables between each course. This way, the guests got to meet all the partners from Dubai in a natural way.
The 55 guests in Oslo and Copenhagen were all very satisfied with the event. In the subsequent survey, 100% of the guests said that they found the event and partners interesting for their business and that they would now consider Dubai a destination for their clients – even though 55% were not aware of the Dubai Business Events organization before this event.
