Creation of groundbreaking tourism analytics platform

Creation of groundbreaking tourism analytics platform
Travel

Insights is everything when you work in the ever-changing field of tourism; at least if you want to do a brilliant job in equipping your clients to understand the Nordic travelers and making informed business decisions.

Back in 2013 we severely lacked a tool that could help us answer significant questions like “What is the perception of the US among Swedes?” or “What is the most important factor, when Finnish travelers look for their next holiday destination?” As a consequence, we took the matter into our own hands and created a comprehensive and, frankly, groundbreaking tourism analytics tool – from scratch!

Travellyze enables customized reports by cross-referencing data on over 140 destinations, traveler behavior, and demographics. The platform expanded from Nordic to 13 European markets and shifted to biannual updates. Today, Travellyze is integral to strategic decision-making in the tourism industry.

The core features of Travellyze:

  1. Destination Image and Perception Data: Travellyze houses data on over 140 destinations, encompassing image, awareness, traveler perception, and experience.
  2. Traveler Behavior Data: The platform captures traveler behavior, including spending patterns, holiday budgets, travel timing, accommodation preferences, inspiration sources, booking habits, sustainable travel tendencies, and travel resilience.
  3. Demographic Insights: Travellyze provides demographic insights into travelers, facilitating exploration of gender, age, household structure, income, and education of a destination’s target audience.
