We coordinated a campaign where Geneva Tourism and Norwegian Airlines teamed up with two influencers to unveil the allure of Geneva as the ultimate Autumn and Winter city break destination. Through a captivating influencer- and advertising campaign, travelers are guided into a world of cultural and culinary delights, all just a short flight away.

 

To promote Geneva as an ideal Autumn and Winter city break destination, we coordinated an influencer campaign on behalf of our client Geneva Tourism. The campaign included both content on the influencers’ own Instagram, as well as an advertising campaign on social media with photo and video content produced by the influencers. 

 

The airline Norwegian was included in the campaign as airline partner. In this way, consumers were presented with both inspiration for a city break holiday to Geneva and an easy way to book flights to the city. Norwegian supported with FOC flight tickets and produced a landing page on their website with 10 fall and winter experiences in Geneva.  

 

For the campaign, we collaborated with Norwegian lifestyle and travel influencers Anne Marthe Widvey and Andrea Sveinsdottir. The content produced during their trip showcased both traditional Geneva activities such as fondue making and a chocolate workshop, as well as vintage fashion shopping, a tuk-tuk tour of the city, a vineyard visit and other culinary experiences – in line with market trends in Norway. The content also focused on showing the ease of traveling from Oslo to Geneva, with a 2.5 hour direct flight.

 

In total, the influencers’ content reached almost 106,000 and resulted in 21,000 engagements. 

 

The advertising campaign on social media was based on photo and video content produced by the influencers during their trip. It linked onwards to the landing page on norwegian.com and included a book-now call to action at the bottom of the page. The paid social campaign resulted in no less than 1,5 million exposures and 6,000 clicks. 

 

We handled the full campaign process, including scouting influencers with the right audience, interests and content type, fee and content negotiations, partner dialogue, writing and handling agreement signing, monitoring the content during the trip as well as handling deliverables after the trip. We also handled the entire social media advertising campaign, from copy writing and target audience mapping in collaboration with our digital media agency partner.
