In October 2025, we arranged a exclusive dessert event in central Copenhagen on behalf of our client VISITFLANDERS. Despite the rainy afternoon, the room was filled with warmth, laughter, and the smell of sugar and spice.
Danish TV host and baker Tobias Hamann and his friend, renowned Flemish chocolatier and patissier Pieter De Volder (founder of Zuut in Leuven), teamed up to create a six-course dessert experience – each course exploring a theme rooted in Flemish culinary culture. The event brought together a handpicked group of foodie and lifestyle influencers – including several of Tobias Hamann’s fellow Great Bake Off contestants.
Each dish was tied to a personal memory or inspiration, making the experience intimate as well as delicious. The friendly chemistry between Tobias and Pieter added to the charm.
Results
Engagement was strong and the educational aspect went well, since the guests were quizzed about their knowledge – and highly motivated to find the correct answers and win the nice prize. Several of them had researched about Flanders beforehand to maximize their chances.
Feedback was extremely positive and guests left inspired and better connected to the story of culinary traditions in Flanders.
Social media coverage from the event reached as much as 740K and generated 172 engagements.
