New PR representative for Travel South USA

By Related

We are proud to announce that Travel South USA has appointed Related as their PR agency in the Nordic countries.

Travel South USA is a tourism board for 12 states in the southeastern part of the US. Here you find a perfect mixture of nature, music, culture culinary experiences and beaches. With the relative short distance between the states and the great variety of experiences, the area is a perfect place for a road trip with all the best of the US – and great possibilities to go off the beaten track.

The states we will promote are Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia. Here, travelers can for instance drive along the green fields or twisted roads in Great Smoky Mountains or enjoy the lush landscape along the 1,932-kilometer-long Coast Highway which starts at the feet of Blue Ridge Mountains near by the sea. On the way, you can enjoy the hospitality in the small cities, dive into the region’s unique music culture, visit the local bourbon distilleries, or experience the varied food culture.

The US is among the favourite destinations in the Nordic market. Our recent Travellyze* survey shows that 76.6% of the Nordic travelers, that are aware of the US tourism product and have not yet visited, have a positive perception of the US as a travel destination. Also, 46.8% want to visit USA in the long run, while 14.8% would like to visit USA within the next 3 years.

Of all Nordic travelers (above the age of 18) having already visited USA in their lifetime, 90.3% had a positive experience, and 55.3% of them would like to visit again.

Related’s tasks for Travel South USA includes activities such as newsletters, media pitches, media meetings as well as media recruitment.

We’re so excited getting started on this!
