PR launch of the new Celebrity Beyond

We assisted Celebrity Cruises with PR around the launch of their new stater of the art cruise ship, Celebrity Beyond, including media and influencer visits ahead of the official maiden voyage.

The media and influencers got the chance to experience the ship first-hand, on a unique sailing along the English coast.

Celebrity Beyond is the Third ship in the revolutionary Edge® Series that takes Celebrity’s innovative outward-facing design further than ever.  Celebrity Beyond not only holds the title of the largest ship in the Celebrity Cruises’ fleet, but the distinction as the brand’s most luxurious vessel.

Related invited some key media and influencers to experience the anticipated new ship, a mix of national dailies, trade media, consumer lifestyle media and lifestyle influencers.

Examples of coverage included expansive reviews in the leading Danish travel trade publiction Standby News, a two pages feature in the Danish food publcation Gastromand, a three pages feature in the Norwegian travel magazine Vagabond Reiselyst and a spa review in Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet (its weekend supplement).

The trip resulted in a total of 11 articles, 45 Instagram posts and 100+ Instagram stories, with a total reach of 3,817,887.

Renowned interior designer Nate Berkus has continued his partnership with Celebrity Cruises, designing the globally influenced two-story Sunset Bar on the aft of Celebrity Beyond. Working in collaboration with architect Tom Wright of WKK, best-known as the designer of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, the space is nearly twice as large as previous iterations with unobstructed views. Featuring two open-air decks and a pergola covered entrance, guests can pull up to a u-shaped bar or settle under the cool shade of plush daybed niches, in this upscale space that combines elegance and relaxation. In addition British designer Kelly Hoppen CBE reimagines several of the brand’s signature venues as well as hte state rooms.
