Branding campaign: Swedish entrepreneur competition

We helped our client Logitech launch their exciting b2b competition Logitech Start-Up Partner 2022. We teamed up with investor and former professional football referee Jonas Eriksson, who not only was a jury member, but also the face of the campaign.

 

We helped our client Logitech launch their b2b competition Logitech Start-Up Partner 2022, which for the first time ever was held in Sweden. Through the competition Logitech aims to celebrate entrepreneurial spirit and support a new company in realizing its business ideas.

Logitech Start-Up Partner 2022 in Sweden was created in collaboration with investor and former professional football referee Jonas Eriksson, who is well known by many Swedes from a long career on the soccer field, but lately more so from the TV show Dräksnästet (Lion’s Den). In Logitech’s competition his role was to be a jury member, but also to help boost the campaign and attract press attention. Last, but not least, a one-to-one mentorship meeting with Jonas Eriksson and the lucky winner was also part of the prize.

Related handled both press materials and PR sell-ins, scouting for and sourcing the collaboration with Jonas Eriksson, as well as an ad campaign consisting of display banner ads, YouTube true views and banner placements in select entrepreneurial media.

Swedish startup company Sunfuria won the prize and the title of Swedish Logitech Start-Up Partner 2022. Sunfuria has invented an ingenious method for cooking via solar panels, for use in developing countries. Apart from an exclusive mentorship meeting with Jonas Eriksson, the team also won a premium technical upgrade with Logitech and Samsung products.

The primary goal of the campaign was to strengthen awareness about Logitech’s entrepreneurial spirit, and to drive traffic to the campaign site to generate interest about the competition. We succeeded in creating:

  • Organic media coverage reach of +1 million
  • Advertising campaign impressions above 5 million, over 14,000 clicks to landingpage and 200,000 campaign video views
  • Endorsement from a famous and recognized investor – including +60,000 impressions on his personal SoMe channels
